Kota Factory is more than just a series; it’s an emotion deeply resonating with students preparing for the IIT entrance exam. Not limited to aspiring IITians, the series’ realistic portrayal of student life strikes a chord with pupils across various educational journeys. With Season 3 recently released to equal acclaim as its predecessors, fans are naturally eager for news about a potential Season 4.

In a recent interview with OTTPlay, director Pratish Mehta addressed the burning question: Will there be a Kota Factory Season 4? Mehta emphasized the importance of maintaining the show’s relatability, a cornerstone of its success. “Our process has always focused on telling authentic stories that reflect the true feelings of students and teachers,” Mehta explained. If a fourth season is greenlit, the team intends to follow the same trajectory, ensuring the series remains as genuine and relatable as ever.

Mehta highlighted that the show’s unique appeal lies in its connection to both current students in the Kota pool and those who have graduated. “Whenever I read the comments, I see people who were preparing for the IIT entrance during Season 1 and have now graduated,” he shared. “Some have succeeded, some haven’t, but they all relate to the journey depicted in the series. That’s what makes Kota Factory special.”

Jitendra Kumar, known as Jeetu Bhaiya on the show, echoed Mehta’s sentiments. “It’s crucial to explore and represent the evolving reality with each season,” Kumar said. He stressed the importance of incorporating real changes and observations into the storyline to keep it engaging and authentic. Kumar believes this approach helps the audience connect deeply with the characters and their stories.

Released on June 20 on Netflix, Season 3 of Kota Factory has already garnered praise from fans. One user on X wrote, “I just finished watching Kota Factory Season 3. This season is the best in terms of emotions and impact, with the last episode being particularly powerful. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions, and I still have teary eyes.”

Another fan commented, “Just watched Kota Factory S3, truly the best series I have watched. I started my prep when Season 1 had come out and now truly relate with Vaibhav’s character. What he’s been through in the series is truly magical.”

A third user added, “Kota Factory‘s biggest achievement is that you could be far off the JEE/NIT trail and still connect with the story and the characters. Jeetu Bhaiya’s words drill into your head.”

Apart from Jitendra Kumar, the cast includes Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Revathi Pillai, and Urvi Singh. Created by Arunabh Kumar, Saurabh Khanna, and Raghav Subbu, Kota Factory first aired on April 16, 2019, and its third season is currently streaming on Netflix.

As fans eagerly await news on Season 4, one thing is clear: Kota Factory continues to touch hearts and minds with its heartfelt storytelling and relatable characters.
