Actress Hema Confirmed at Bengaluru Rave Party by Police

Bengaluru: On Tuesday, Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda confirmed that popular Telugu actress Hema was present at a rave party in Bengaluru, where drugs were seized. This revelation came after a police raid on Monday night. Commissioner Dayananda, speaking to reporters, highlighted that despite Hema’s earlier denials, evidence and eyewitness accounts placed her at the scene.

Initially, Hema had released a video claiming she was at a farmhouse in Hyderabad, attempting to refute the rumors of her involvement in the rave party. “Do not believe the news about me attending a rave party in Bengaluru,” she urged in the video. However, sources and police statements indicated that the video was actually recorded at the same Bengaluru farmhouse where the party took place.

According to police sources, Hema pleaded with the officers post-raid, asking them not to disclose her identity to the media. She reportedly cried and, under the guise of needing to use the restroom, managed to leave the scene and record her denial video from within the premises.

The raid revealed that over 101 people attended the rave party titled “Sunset to Sunrise Victory,” held in the Electronics City region at the GM Farmhouse in Singena Agrahara. The police seized MDMA, cocaine, hydro ganja, and other substances during the raid. Blood samples were taken from the participants to test for drug consumption, and the Anti-Narcotics Wing of the CCB is awaiting the results to summon individuals for further questioning.

The participants included techies and Telugu actors, with the organiser flying in more than 25 individuals from Andhra Pradesh under the pretext of a birthday celebration. Arrests have already been made, including YM Arunkumar, Raj, L Vasu, and D Nagababu.

Interestingly, a pass belonging to an Andhra Pradesh MLA was found in one of the vehicles at the farmhouse, though no elected representatives were confirmed to have attended the party. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full scope of involvement and to address the allegations against Hema.
