After a series of flops, Tiger Shroff faces a career crisis and has been advised to reduce his fees by 70%. The actor’s standing in Bollywood is at stake.
In the pre-pandemic era, Tiger Shroff was regarded as one of the brightest stars in Hindi cinema. He made a powerful debut with “Heropanti” in 2014, quickly establishing himself as an action hero with films like “Baaghi” (2016) and “War” (2019). However, Tiger’s career trajectory has sharply declined in recent years, with multiple box office failures casting a shadow over his once-promising career.
A Series of Flops
Tiger’s recent releases have not lived up to expectations. “Heropanti 2” (2022), “Ganapath” (2023), and “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” (2024) have all tanked at the box office, failing to create any significant impact. These consecutive failures have significantly affected his standing in the industry. An insider revealed, “Rambo was slated to start this summer, but it has been shelved now owing to budget issues. Jio believes that it is not feasible to make an expensive action film with Tiger in this market. Out of 11 releases, Tiger has delivered 6 flops, with 3 back-to-back failures recently. His career is in doldrums with no takers, an empty calendar, and no fortune.”

No Films in Hand
According to industry insiders, Tiger Shroff currently has no films lined up, facing a severe career crisis. The shelving of “Rambo” due to budget constraints underscores the precarious situation Tiger finds himself in. With no current projects and producers hesitant to invest in him, the actor must navigate this challenging phase.
Advised to Reduce Fees
The impact of his recent box office failures has also led to financial repercussions for Tiger. Producers have advised him to cut his fees by more than 70%. “A leading producer recently advised Tiger to reduce his fees to single-digit numbers, around Rs. 9 crore, as he doesn’t have a market value right now. This came as a shock to Tiger, who charged Rs. 30 crores each for ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Ganapath,’” the insider informed.
Future Prospects
Tiger Shroff’s career, once filled with potential, is now at a critical juncture. With an empty calendar and dwindling market value, he must consider significant changes to revive his career. Reducing his fees might be a necessary step to regain trust and secure new roles, but it remains to be seen how Tiger will rebuild from this low point.
