Garima Pura Patiyaalvi, co-writer of the Oscar-winning film “The Elephant Whisperers,” presents her next project, a captivating teen drama series titled “Amber Girls School,” set to stream on Amazon’s ad-supported platform miniTV in India.
The series revolves around an all-girls institution deeply rooted in traditional Indian culture, where young women are conditioned according to societal norms. At the heart of the story is Ojaswini, a 15-year-old student recognized for her academic prowess and leadership potential. As she aspires to become the vice head girl, Ojaswini’s journey takes a tumultuous turn when her desire for individuality and freedom clashes with the school’s strict regulations, leading to a poignant exploration of teenage rebellion and self-discovery.
Directed by Rajlaxmi Ratan Seth (“The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family“) and produced by Reliance Entertainment Studios, “Amber Girls School” promises to offer a compelling narrative that delves into the complexities of identity, friendship, and adolescent struggles.
