In recent times, Bollywood has seen the emergence of new faces from the South Indian film industry, with actresses like Keerthy Suresh and Sai Pallavi making significant strides in the Hindi film industry. While Rashmika Mandanna has already established herself as a leading actress in Bollywood, the trajectory for others, particularly Samantha Ruth Prabhu, seems to be challenging.

Keerthy Suresh, known for her stellar performances in South Indian cinema, recently completed filming for her debut Hindi film, “Maidaan,” opposite Ajay Devgn. This sports drama is poised to showcase her talent to a wider audience in Bollywood. Additionally, she is set to star alongside Akshay Kumar in director Priyadarshan’s upcoming comedy, indicating a promising career trajectory in Hindi cinema.

Similarly, Sai Pallavi is gearing up for her Bollywood debut opposite Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, in an upcoming project. Notably, she has also landed the coveted role of Goddess Sita in the epic film “Ramayana,” alongside stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. With two Bollywood projects already in her kitty, Pallavi is set to make a significant impact in the industry.

On the other hand, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, despite her extensive contacts and acquaintances in Mumbai, has faced challenges in securing Bollywood projects. Apart from her role in Raj & DK’s web series “The Family Man Season 2,” Samantha has struggled to make a mark in Bollywood. Despite her efforts, including working on her next Amazon project “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” Samantha has yet to sign a Bollywood film.

While Keerthy Suresh and Sai Pallavi are actively pursuing opportunities and bagging significant roles in Bollywood, Samantha’s journey in the Hindi film industry seems to be encountering hurdles. Whether this trend reflects a preference for certain South Indian actresses over others in Bollywood remains a subject of speculation.
