Prabhas Unveils Robot Sidekick Bujji in New Teaser for Kalki 2898 AD at Hyderabad Event

Director Nag Ashwin recently released a teaser introducing Bujji, the robotic sidekick of Prabhas‘ character Bhairava in the highly anticipated sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD. Voiced by Keerthy Suresh, Bujji is a custom-made vehicle with a unique personality, playing a crucial role in the movie’s plot.

Meet Bujji: Bhairava’s Swanky Sidekick

Bujji, a robot with an engaging persona, is introduced as Bhairava’s loyal companion. The film’s producers, Vyjayanthi Movies, showcased Bujji’s body—a sophisticated custom-made car—during an event in Hyderabad attended by a select audience. The introduction was accompanied by a nearly one-minute-long teaser, much to the delight of fans and attendees.

Prabhas himself presented Bujji at the event, expressing his gratitude to director Nag Ashwin for the film and to the audience for their unwavering support. He also expressed his excitement about working alongside stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.

The Making of Bujji’s Body

In a video shared by Prabhas a few days prior, Bujji is seen growing impatient as the team builds her body. The vehicle’s reveal took place in a massive arena set up specifically for this purpose, showcasing the scale and ambition of the project. Despite a delayed start, the event was a major success, with fans thrilled by Prabhas’ presence.

Anand Mahindra’s Contribution

Back in 2022, Nag Ashwin sought the help of Anand Mahindra via X (formerly Twitter) to build the advanced vehicles for the film. Nag praised Mahindra and requested assistance, stating the film’s importance and its potential to be a national pride. Anand Mahindra responded positively, offering the necessary support. At the event, Nag thanked Mahindra and the entire team for their four-year effort in creating the vehicle.

About Kalki 2898 AD

Kalki 2898 AD is a groundbreaking sci-fi film featuring a stellar cast, including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. While the storyline remains largely undisclosed, it has been revealed that Amitabh Bachchan will portray Aswathama. The film is set in an apocalyptic future where the protagonist rises to combat evil forces, and it is scheduled for a theatrical release in multiple languages on June 27.
