After the successes of “Main Tera Hero” and “Judwaa 2,” the dynamic father-son duo, Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan, are all set for their third theatrical collaboration. Produced by Ramesh Taurani under TIPS Entertainment, this upcoming film will feature Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, Sreeleela, and Maniesh Paul in key roles. The film is slated to go on floors in July 2024, with a theatrical release planned for October 2, 2025.

Sources close to the development reveal that this untitled film is an original script and promises to be a hilarious entertainer. “Much like all David Dhawan comedies, this one is also a love triangle where the humor stems from confusion in the leading man’s life,” shared a source.
Pinkvilla reports that Sreeleela has been cast to play Varun Dhawan’s love interest, marking her Hindi film debut. “David has written a high-on-entertainment track to launch Sreeleela in Hindi markets,” the source added. The film aims to be a “pakka-commercial entertainer,” which Sreeleela believes is the perfect launch pad for her in Bollywood.
The comic caper will also see Mrunal Thakur sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan. “Varun will be romancing both Mrunal and Sreeleela in the film. It’s a fun entertainer, on the lines of cinema that David Dhawan is known for. Varun also returns to his home turf. The makers have gone all out to pull off a fresh-casting coup bringing in Mrunal and Sreeleela on board alongside Varun,” the source elaborated.
